The Epic Games Store continues its weekly free game campaign this week. Starting July 17th, the platform will offer Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Platinum Edition, a classic strategy game. Players can add this version to their libraries for free until July 24th.

Released in 2016, Civilization VI remains one of the most popular turn-based strategy games among gamers. It tells the story of players building their own civilizations, starting in prehistoric times, and evolving them throughout the ages. The game features a multi-layered gameplay structure that encourages advancements in diplomacy, warfare, science, and culture.

This week, Epic Games is offering players not only the main game but also the Platinum Edition, a richly featured game, free of charge. This package includes six different scenarios, civilization packs, and two major expansions.

The Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm expansions add significant innovations to the game’s mechanics, including weather, diplomacy, loyalty, and natural disasters. This version of the game is available for $60 on Steam and 1,999 TL on Epic Games.

Two other games currently available for free on the Epic Games Store are also available until July 17th. Figment 2: Creed Valley and Sky Racket can be added to the library until then. Users who want to claim these games simply log in to their Epic Games account and click “Install” on the game page.

Epic Games’ weekly free game distribution is a notable long-running campaign. The platform has successfully integrated millions of users into its system with this strategy. New free games are announced every Thursday on the Epic Games Store.
